Rhassoul Clay Powder with Herbs
Used for centuries by Moroccan women, ghassoul (also spelled rhassoul) is a mineral clay extracted from the Atlas Mountains. Ground into a powder and blended with herbs, our rhassoul clay powder turns into a creamy mask as soon as you add a little water. It gently cleanses skin and hair.
How to prepare your rhassoul clay powder mask
- In a bowl (preferably without metal utensils), pour two to three tablespoons of powder.
- Gradually add lukewarm water, rose water or orange blossom water, stirring until you get a smooth paste.
- Let it rest for a few minutes so the clay can hydrate.
How to use it
- Face: apply a thin layer, avoiding the eye area, leave on for 5 to 10 minutes without letting it dry completely, then rinse with lukewarm water.
- Body: at the hammam or in the shower, after the black soap and exfoliation, apply all over your body, then rinse.
- Hair: apply to wet hair, massage your scalp, leave on for a few minutes and rinse thoroughly.
